Help! SWB frame question
I'm looking to buy a SWB frame locally, so I get a response, saying someone has a 65 frame and he thinks it might be the same as 67-72.
I know nothing about frames. Is there anyone that might know if this is correct or not? I've tried the general forum but no-one is sure and I don't want to by a problem... or worse a usless frame. Thanks in advance! |

Re: Help! SWB frame question
They are not the same. They are interchangeable for the most part.....
The core support mounts, rear cab mounts, bed floor bolt spacing & front frame horns (height & shape) are all slightly different which means extra fab work to account for when swapping.
