1 3/8" fuel hose.

I admit my search skills are not so good so now I asking for help. Where would I be able to buy 1 3/8" filler hose? I have the tank mounted under the bed and will be using a motorcycle type filler cap in the fender. Any help would be appreciated.

You can get it at your local parts store. It's called "fuel filler hose", but its eye watering expensive. Somewhere around 20 bucks a foot.

Thanks for the quick reply but small town America, Dayton, TN, local Advanced and such do not have it and could not provide any ideas as to where it could be purchased.

NAPA has it, if you don't have a NAPA nearby you can order from them online. I buy different sizes from them all the time, reasonably priced

Re: 1 3/8" fuel hose.

If you have a long distance to span, you might want to consider having a local muffler shop bend you up a piece of pipe so you only need two short pieces of hose instead of one long one, especially if there are curves involved. That size fuel hose doesn't bend easily.

Thanks for all of your replies. I think I have enough information to be as dangerous as usual.

Smalltown, Anywhere, oughta have a Lowe's--they sell a clear, thick-walled butyl(?) hose in many sizes, including what u prolly need. I've used it for fuel several times; works well.

some times a tractor supply/repair shop or a farm store will carry some. Or a heavy equipment repair shop.
