New guy on the block

Hey y'all yep we say y'all here in tn lol.

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm a square body fanatic I've owned a couple but my latest is by far my favorite. Runs like a champ and passes everything but a gas station it's a 89 r3500 with a 454 tbi th400 and a Dana 70 hd....

I bought a set of 24.5in peterbuilts for it which are milled to fit 255/35/24s so there 29in tall. Got these things painted black and it was a pain in the butt to get them polished out.

I have the following not yet installed:
new moog inner tie rod ends
new moog outer tie rod ends
new moog pitman arm
new moog idler arm
new moog upper ball joints
new moog lower ball joints
new moog tie rod adjusters
new energy suspension sway bar bushings
new energy suspension tie rod end boots
new rough country steering stabilizer kit
new rotors
new wagner severe duty pads
new rubber brake lines
new national inner wheel bearings
new national outer wheel bearing
new national wheel seals
new brake calipers
new energy suspension cab mounts
new energy suspension motor mounts
new energy suspension transmission mount
new msd rotor cap and button
new msd performance coil
new taylor stainless braided plug wires
new gm performance valve covers
new goodmark rollpan
Also have a srw full float 14bolt to tuck the tires in

Looking to drop it... Who here is lowered on a 29in tall tire?

Re: New guy on the block

I like it! The fronts will rub your inner fenders tho. either gotta cut the inners out or do a not so drastic drop. My 89 had the stock dually wheels on stock dually tires, had to put some passenger car tires on the front but the rear was fine. I never finished it before i sold it when i moved to mexico a few years back. I planned the 22.5 dually wheels and remove the front inners.
