Vintage air GenIV questions

Hey guys I am doing body work on my cab and was wondering about the Vintage Air system. My cab is a heat only 1970 but I have put the ac vents in it. First question is how does the system go through the firewall( pics would be greatly appreciated)? Next question is how does the system look mounted inside the cab? Does it use the stock control knobs or what does it use. I just don't want to get all the body work done, prime and find out I have to go back to body work. Thanks!

Re: Vintage air GenIV questions

Yes the vintage air unit has 4 hoses that come out of the firewall.. You can either bolt the firewall panel on or weld it in.. On your controls you can use either factory style a/c controls or your heater controls that are converted to work with the a/c.
The vintage air system is very clean looking system.. If you need any help with your vintage air products lmk I can help.. Thanks Kyle

Re: Vintage air GenIV questions

Thanks for the info. Im saving money to buy the GenIV system. Just didn't want to leave the hole for the old heater and find I needed to fill it.
