Tach face needs a redo.
My tach face has light rust. Is there a rescreener or decale available?

Re: Tach face needs a redo.
There are decals available but the ones I have seen the graduation markings are white in color instead of the faint green like the factory used,
Redline does re screening in the correct color, I have had dozens of gauges refinished by them over the year and always have been happy with the results. http://www.redlineg.com/redlineg/Welcome.html |

Leddzepp, I can not post a pic right now because my main computer is face down on the work bench. I will when I get it back together.

Re: Tach face needs a redo.
I contacted these people off E-bay. They said they could do the factory black decals if I wanted them.

Re: Tach face needs a redo.
I've had the same issue and have contacted several gauge restorers. They do not have the art work to restore these due to the low volume. Right now you are Better off buying a reproduction gauge. I ended up with a cleaned up original face and VDO internals.

Re: Tach face needs a redo.
Check with member theastronaut. He rebuilds and sells instrument panels for first gen trucks and may rebuild ours also. He has a thread on how he does it, here is the link to it...
