1968 gmc green interior questions

I been searching and searching. I have a factory light yellow 68 with 610 green interior. The previous owner put saddle carpet and dash pad in it. Also painted top of dash saddle. I think it's a fairly rare color scheme and would like to keep it this way. My concerns are with the dash. From the pad to window I believe this should have been the interior color? I'm trying to figure out where to get the correct paint to paint it back. Also I can't seem to find any info on this 610 green?!?!? It is a z84 custom sport truck with a buddy bucket. I have the factory build sheet but the Spid is gone.

from the dash pad to the windshield is always the color of the pad. not sure why gm did it this way and it was always a flatter sheen so the glare wasn't bad on the windshield.

Re: 1968 gmc green interior questions

So you are saying you have a 520/550 light yellow truck with a code 610 green vinyl interior. That is interesting in that is not a recommended color combination. Per the salesman's handbook that would have been a color overide order. Like to see that build sheet if you don't mind posting it.

The interior is painted the exterior body color. The upper dash forward of the pad is a flattened color, Ditzler code 43693 Dark Green. Please note, this extends from the dash slots to the windshield flange and to but not including the windshield pillars. The door trim panels are Ditzler code 43860 Dark Green (non CST, metal panels). Steering column components are Ditzler code 43523 Green.

You can find supporting documentation and order paint from TCP Global.

Yellow with green trim is rare, but not unheard of...

This truck reminds me of these!

Lets see if the pic comes through. I have vinyl door panels just like the pic of green and white pickup.

Very cool! That's a cool, but odd, combo.

Re: 1968 gmc green interior questions

Sorrry, But somehow I missed the fact this was a GMC. The codes may very well be the same as a 68 Chevy but I cannot tell for sure. They (TCP Global) are not providing interior colors for a 68 GMC and only reference the exterior colors to the 67 card. Chevrolet pretty much does the same thing but does have a detailed interior breakdown. I've linked some cards for you to look at. These seem to confirm the color code from my earlier posts, particularly the GMC 67 pg2 chart. Please confirm the choices before ordering possibly through their tech people.
