Need Throttle Cable help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The saga continues on this SB to BB swap. I discovered yesterday that the throttle cable that was hooked up to the Holley 650 on the SB is too long for the Holley 750 on the BB. Is there any way to adjust these cables? If not, what have some of you done to make it work? I would like to avoid the expense of the Lokar set-up for the time being if at all possible. Any help appreciated.
