Rear bumper bracket pics 4x4

Hey guys finally starting to get closer to the end of my 2wd to 4wd conversion. I had a flat sport bumper on my 2wd and was going to use it on my 4x4 as well, but when I put my brackets up there they seem to point down too far like the bumper will be on at a weird angle. I was hoping to see pictures of where the brackets mount to the frame please to make sure I'm trying to put them in the right spot.

I appreciate it.

Just for fun I'll throw up a pic of pretty close to how it's sitting right now. I think the only thing I've done since this is put on the pass side marker light. Need to get the driver side one ordered. The soon to do list, tailgate, inner fenders, headliner, rear cab trim, rear bumper, splash guards, front bumper, repaint the "chevrolet" lettering on grille. Long list of little things. Oh yea and fix oil leaks

Thanks,

Kevin Osterhaus

Re: Rear bumper bracket pics 4x4

Truck looks great. IIRC the rear sport bumper brackets are the same 2wd or 4wd - front brackets differ. I don't have a truck here at the moment with a sport bumper to photo but try searching posts for rear bracket pics on 2wd trucks. Good luck, Pete

Re: Rear bumper bracket pics 4x4

There is a coil spring sport bumper bracket and a leaf spring sport bumper bracket.
You need the leaf spring version now.
