New To Me Ramptruck C30 Car Hauler
Finally came across one of these local enough to justify the shipping cost...have been looking for a couple of years. Has a smallblock 350 with a turbo 400 and a Doug Nash OD system. 14' or so ramp bed with lots of storage area. Cab and front sheetmetal have seen better days...unless you like air vents below your feet..lol. So, plan is to swap the cab and probably front sheetmetal, clean up the wiring, get the flatbed portion touched up in a few spots where welds have come loose or been torn off...and make this my Go Get'r. Will post more as it comes together...Thanks in advance to all my forum brothers for tips and pointers

Nice find, with AC to boot. I'll be watching for a build thread.

Re: New To Me Ramptruck C30 Car Hauler
The wheelbase looks very long. is it a stock wheelbase or has the frame been extended?

The PO must have been pretty fidgety to wear a hole in the floor with his heel like that.

Looks nice, even with that little hair lip on the front grill. Love those old haulers!

That's a nice set-up. I like the bobbed dovetail.

really cool...now you just need a vintage race car to set on it....try to do some research,it might have belonged to someone famous 40 yrs ago....

Re: New To Me Ramptruck C30 Car Hauler
Cool truck...is that a factory "Dual Range" badge? I am assuming so...if not, they would have had to move the 350 badges down to put them on.

Re: New To Me Ramptruck C30 Car Hauler
I love the "farm fresh" look. I say drive it as is. If you plan to drive it at night I'd fix the pass. side head light though.
Definitely a cool truck! I wish I had one.
