Correct original thermostat 70-72 Blazer
My parts book shows this to be correct for my 1972 Blazer. I am trying to confirm it from an originality standpoint. If this is right, what screwed into the hole? I've seen some with a plug.
Thanks.

Re: Correct original thermostat 70-72 Blazer
I'm skeptical that's a correct piece. Those on my 72's all lack that threaded hole. If you see the link to my K20 build below I have a pic of an ugly but original example of that on a low-mileage 72 4wd motor. My 72 CA emissions K5 with a counter replacement GM motor looks the same as that on my K20.

My '72 Blazer with 350 doesn't have that hole either.
