67-72 body on 73-87 frame

anyone ever put a 67 to 72 c10 short bed on a 73-87 short bed frame wondering what all needed to make work

There was one over this way for sale that had that set up a while back. Dont know what mods were needed but it looked great.

It has been done several times, but I wouldn't try it myself, and I would take on any mod! The frame steps up and narrows under the cab on the 73 and up making the cab a pain to mount, and I'm thinking that a person would have to jack the bed up some to get it to line up with the cab after it is mounted! It can be done, but it takes quite a bit of fab work to get it done!
