Question Dana 60 rear

Hey fellas....picked up a Dana 60 rear out of a 72 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive C-20.....it's an open rear, but it's got 4.10's that I wanted to put under my 72 K-5. Are the spring perches the same width, or will I have to weld new ones in? Thanks.....

Will be the same. But if you have both go ahead and measure. The 3/4 and 1 ton leaf frames are supposedly the same as the K series in regards to width.

I am not so sure that the widths are the same. I put a D60 out of a 72' 2wd 3/4 ton into a 69 3/4 4x4 and the 2wd had wider perches by about 2".

Yup, 2" difference. UNLESS it was a Longhorn. Longhorns and 4x4 have 40.5" centers, same as a Blazer, but the 2 wheel drive leaf trucks have 42.5" centers. I have a Longhorn 60 that will eventually wind up in my Jimmy.
