Oil leaks
I've only had my truck a couple of weeks, and it's clear it's been stood awhile, as the leaks are getting worse. And if I want to keep my balls I need to stop it marking it's territory everywhere it goes, including our newly paved drive.
Is there a good resouce for striping the front prop down. And the part numbers so I can get stuff ordered before I start It's a 1950 GMC 150 Cheers |

Re: Oil leaks
You might wander over to stovebolts.com, they are more stock orientated and have a great tech section that should help you. I have found over the years that a lot of the initial leaks will go away after you have driven it for a while. When I got my 65 chevelle it had only been driven ocassionaly around the block once a month for a few years. It only had 82K miles. I started driving it daily, it blew smoke past the rings and had a bunch of small leaks, after about 200 miles the rings sealed up and all of the leaks went away except for the rear seal dripping a couple of drops over night which all 283's seem to do. I drove it another 45K miles before pulling it to preserve the original block.
