1971 chevy longhorn
hey does anyone know where i can buy a carrier bearing for a 1971 Chevy longhorn. my truck uses a weird two piece drive shaft, the front half comes straight out of the transmission goes into a carrier bearing about where the back of the cab ends, then after the carrier bearing the second half of the drive shaft angles down and goes to the rear end. lmc doesn't have anything listed and this is kind of a bastard truck because of the longhorn, so I'm not sure what is interchangeable and whats not. can i use the carrier off a regular 3/4 ton

Re: 1971 chevy longhorn
The 2 piece driveshaft is factory, all longbeds and longhorns came like that. The carrier bearing should be the same as a standard longbed 3/4 ton, and most parts stores should be able to order you one.
