Is that original paint? If it is and isn't awful I'd leave as is. A smart buyer wants to see that. You wouldn't get what the paint job costs extra and it may serve to deter many. You gave lots of info, but I still need to know more to give an accurate value. Pictures under hood, interior, bed, and description of body condition would help. Man,I sure do like what you have there. i wish I could tell you it's worth the amount of cash I have at hand and just buy it! (which I'm sure wouldn't touch it)

That is the original paint. I'll take pics of under the hood, body, and misc areas.

Re: Wiw 1970 c-10 ls/700r4
Thats a clean truck. I have seen them sell for $5-$7.5k without all the goodies you have (assuming there is no major rust in it or cut out stereo opening). Unless you have a paint 'hookup', I would leave it as-is.
The add on's will be buyer specific so it's harder to estimate what someone who wants that stuff would pay. I think that $10-13k is what you could sell it for in todays market. Hope that helps.

That does help. The pass side rocker needs replacing and the driver side fender has a beauty mark from someone else. The rear bed panel needs to be smoothed out a bit. And, I do have a paint / body hook up.

I have more pics, but they need to be resized.
Also, I have a bunch of gaskets, seals, and stuff to go with the truck. Unless, of course, I paint it and use the stuff. Last edited by djw32; 10-10-2013 at 03:59 PM. |
