Re: pic of my 67 c10 95% factory daily driver
i was going down the road in my old hunting truck it was 85 Nissan 4x4, well saw the 67 stuck behind an old semi and i stopped and ask if its was for sale he said it wasn't his but owner was wanting to sale he said 1900 it wasn't running carb in pieces so i said i would trade my 4x4 for it he said he would probably do that well this went on for a month i was scared so one would see it and by it .so i was having a yard sale and after it was over i donated the rest to local church and preacher said is 4wd for sale i said ya kind i want this 67 bla bla bla and he came back next day and payed 1500 for old 4wd and an hour later 67 was sitting in drive way for price of 1400 dollars for truck and 35 for tow. well another cool thing the day i payed for it i had never met owner and done everthing through man were truck was sitting well with truck not running i drove aunts truck to home depot and was brag-in on the truck i had just bought and man said that sounds like my truck and come find out it was and in ga. u don't have to have title for truck that old so most get lost . so i asked can u right out bill of sale he said i'll do one better i give u the original title.
now i drive truck every day its my pride and joy heres a list of stuff i done to get it running. plug wires $19.99 autozone cap $free came with truck coil $19.99autozone rotor button $free came with truck carb-holley $50.00 friend special adapter so carb would bolt to factory intake $40.00 ebay td trans fuel pump $19.99autozone tires, still had bias tires on it $65 for front two brake master cylinder $ 19.99 z bar cracked so new z bar for clutch $20.00 used on ebay truck 1400 tow home 35.00 so total investment $1690 and worth every penny best vehicle I've owned |
