im thinking of adding a spot light does any have any pics of trucks with this look thanks

Heres a few of my 63 with the unity s-6 spotlight. Truck was loaded w/1200lbs of shingles at the time. MarkeB01 has dual s-6 spotlights on his also. Heres a pic of his also...I don't think he'll mind me posting it. He is the forum guru on these spotlights and the installs. If you are planning one, Id suggest that you contact him. Aerotruk63 has the harder to find unity ch spotlight...ill see if I can find a pic...and heres a thread also.

No problem. I did my install myself....wasn't that hard. Either MarkeB01 or I can walk you through it. He has documented the process very well in the thread above, and I believe its in the FAQ section also for 60-66. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Here are some photos of 60-66 trucks with spotlights. I’m surprised how many there are. As best I can tell I’ve only included those with Unity spotlights. There are many more that wear the Cal Custom style dummy lights as well. As can be seen some use the factory designed brackets while others use whatever was available:

Thanks for sharing those pics Mark. Some of them I've seen , a lot were new to me. Great collection of trucks there.

I really was surprised how many there were. Any time I see a photo of a truck with a spotlight I just save it to the spotlight file, but this is the first time I've actually opened it up and looked at everything. There's at least a dozen more with dummy lights. Surprisingly I don't have even a single picture of a truck with an Appleton spotlight. They were mostly used on 1950's custom cars, so I suppose they were mostly gone by the time our trucks came into existence.

Hey Markeb01 and 1963c-10, would any of you fella's have an interior pic of a 64-66 spotlight setup? I'm lookin to do the same with my 64 C-20 and was wondering if the 64-66 corvair template would work for my truck or if there was a 64-66 Chevy truck template and also where the handle came out inside the cab in relation to the 64-66 dash.

I remember when that was for sale on Craigslist!!! If you could see what that same truck looks like now you would be amazed! Never new it had a spot light though.
