Fuel tank filler, pressure gauge, fuel gauge and other questions!!!

Ok so I have the LMC blazer tank in my 72 Short bed fleet.

http://www.lmctruck.com/features/cb/CBGTN.htm

I have hole cut in floor of bed and "filler" neck that comes off at 45* angle from tank and would like to make a more proper finish for filler with a proper fuel cap and access door. What do you guys have I tried quick search and haven't found anything to adapt what i already have.

I also need a good in line filter. Anyone?

I want to add a fuel pressure gauge under hood perm mount. What is out there that you all like?

Also fuel gauge stuck on full have tan sender plugged in right and fuse is good. Do i just need to reground or will this tank never read right... Gauge moves very slightly 1/8-1/4 inch represents my entire tank so its hard to gauge (pun definitely intended) where its at.

I would also like to do a vac gauge. Under hood or in dash. Any pic's? (want to see options other than stock)

Re: Fuel tank filler, pressure gauge, fuel gauge and other questions!!!

you could use something like this to cover the hole

http://www.fueltankparts.com/flush-f...cess-door.html

I plan on using a boat style bed fill when I get to that point like this

Re: Fuel tank filler, pressure gauge, fuel gauge and other questions!!!

Thank you. That is what I am looking for I love the design of box and oval one at bottom of page you like. I need to know if filler hose will be flexible enough to make the bend from filler to tanl it will need to bend 45* in about a foot.

Your quote "1/8-1/4 inch represents my entire tank" sounds like either a bad sender or else the wrong sender or a grounded sender-wire. Removing that sender wire and replacing with a temporary one, just run across the seat for ex., would rule out a 'grounded' wire between gauge and tank.
