I like the blue sided, yellow roof building in the first picture's background. Cantilevered dormer over a garage door. Keeps the snow from the roof away from the opening and allows a lift just inside, with a small garage door, that can lift vertical instead of horizontal.
Got garage design on the brain, sorry.
