Blazer Sag
I've always heard about the importance of the rocker boxes, if you don't have them then the truck sags with the top off. Does anybody have any pics of this, I've never seen it yet.
Just curious, thanks Scott

i've never seen it, but it makes sense. it's like this, if you take a piece of paper, and fold about an inch on each side, it will hold up the paper. if you don't have the folds there, it is basically limp. same thing for the blazers. since the body is sitting on the mounts about an inch and a half to two inches off the frame, there is no support where the driver sits, so it sags down. make sense?

I don't you if you can visually see the sag, but getting the hard top back on could be difficult/impossible with out the rocker boxes. Also, the doors may start to bind.

I have run no bxes on a few of my blazers (obviously they rusted away). They do sag. You cannot see it though. With the Top off you have to use a little muscle to open or shut the doors, thats all. Never had a problem taking the top on / off. With the doors shut, the body is rigid and supportive again.
