1970 Custom C10...
After getting a "66 that had been in a barn since the "90's,and selling it for something needing less to get rolling I found this "70 Custom! She needs work, but moves under her own power and is a solid Southern truck.350/350 combo with PS,PB and AC!!!Another bonus was the posi rear....Plans are to go through the mechanicals and get her on the road. After that a nice static drop, and then straighten out the few dents she has.The body is very good overall, esp. the floors and mounts underneath. Here's a few pics.

Pulled the seat out this morning, vacuumed out the debris.Rubber floor covering's never been out, still has the cardboard/insulation under it.Fuel line or tank is leaking?Need to pull that next...Also got the hood to stay down.

Re: 1970 Custom C10...
Fuel tank is leaking, pulled that out and off to the side for now...Cleaned all the door jams and inside of the doors.Gave that whole area a nice coat of wax.Bottoms of the cab corners, and the top front of the right rocker is a bit rusted out.Other than that the cab is rock solid!Lubed up all the moving parts to the doors,open/close like new over 40 years later .Pics below of the "bad" spots.

Cleaned up the cab/nose today with some CLR,then gave it a coating of Linseed oil.My daughter helped out removing the mirrors.Hope to get the bed done tomorrow...Plans are to turn this into a vintage looking Detroit Diesel sales & service logo'd truck

Back of my bed is dented in on each side, and the floor is a bit rough from rust.Scored this near perfect bed on CL from another "70 C10!
