tranny question

Tomorrow im picking up a 1976 c10 on a trade. It has a turbo350 transmission im wondering if I could change to a 700r4 and use the same trans mount and drive shaft at that? any advice or help would be awesome

Also im going to swap to the later 1984 front end if I remember correct all I need is
hood
core support
fenders
headlights
grill

advice on that would also be nice.

ill start a build thread tomorrow once I get it back to my house

Re: tranny question

There are a couple different tail housings on the TH350 transmission. If it has the longer style, I believe the driveshaft will swap over. If it has the shorter style, then the 700R4 tranny will be longer, and you'll need a new driveshaft.
