OMG what did I do...
I bought this truck today... It is a 65 long bed and looks like it is pretty much all orginal. Even has the radio delete plate still in place along with a niffty 8 track player. I am guessing it has 154,000 miles but that could have turned a few times. It has a 283 with a three on the tree. Looks to be a calif truck as it still has the black plates and was bought in Napa where I bought it. I just plan to drive it and fix it while driving it. Acually going to be somewhat of my work truck. I was thinking of sanding and paiting the roof white. Who knows maybe it was originally white.. Also the truck has minimal rust but it dose have some..

Re: OMG what did I do...
What you have done is scored big. Nice truck. Finding a truck that good around here is like winning the lottery.

Re: OMG what did I do...
I will keep you guys updated as I go. I will be going up Sat to replace all the rubber brake lines and bleed the brakes.
Have to pull the steering wheel becuase the shifter is stuck. The owner had a hose clamp tied on it just so it would grab 1st and rev so he could move it around the shop. I did start it and it runs pretty good even with the points. I will be swapping that out for an HEI which I already have. After I get some of this worked out I will take better pictures.

Re: OMG what did I do...
Pretty good buy for 1,995.00 unless you talked him down some. I wish I could find a truck that had floors in it around here and wasn't runsted through the top of windshield frame. It's going to take several trucks and parts to put my '65 together. I tmay end up being a patch work truck when done. Cool find though man.

Nice find. The truck looks to be complete which is a big plus. Body looks straight which is another big plus. Congrats on the new truck.

Looks good to me, you beat me to it, I saw it on craigs but was sold when I contacted him. I have a junk hood with good rear corners.
