Steering column from 92 GMC 3500 to a 86K20
Will a steering column from a 1992 GMC 3500 bolt into an 86K20? My 86 doesn't have tilt,this 92 does.Both are standard trans.

I don't think it will, and the electronics are different.

Re: Steering column from 92 GMC 3500 to a 86K20
I think the electrical should be the same. I build a lot of columns and have used the turn signal switches out of the 92 body style trucks. I do know that where it mounts to the floor will be different. I think the 92 has the piece welded to the column where it mounts to the floor. It is possible to cut this off and use the gasket and plate from your 86 column. What would be most important would be to compare the lengths and then decide if it is worth your time to cut the floor plate off the 92 column.
