Re: 1969 C10 wheel backspacing???
I went through a little wheel hell on this subject recently. I borrowed test fit 15 X 8 wheels with a 4 inch back space that what was one my truck (billet after-market wheels no p-roblems 275-60-15 BFG all around. I bought some chrome ralleys from Summit, THEY speced them what arrived had 4 1/2" back spacing and rubbed my calipers even after some minor grinding and smoothing. sent 'em back got some from Discount tire Guaranteed to fit, I measured them 4-1/2" stated 4.5 and THEY rubbed sent them back, manufacturer Custom made 4" back space, no extra charge, FIT PERFECT, No Problems ????? A Half and Inch, REALLY? Yup!! Here's how they look Today.
