Re: Wanted W/P #s
the gm part number 3890017 was changed 3929233 which is not the casting NUMBER but it says in the books this pump was used from 1955-1967 on ALL cars and trucks 265 283 327. Then looking in Chevrolet by the numbers theres two casting numbers 3782608 1965-1968 and 3859326 1965-1968 . Im hoping this helps some. Punching the numbers into ebay shows what the pump http://www.ebay.com/itm/63-67-Corvet...db723a&vxp=mtr looks like, Looks to me like you need casting 3859326 . Jon

Re: Wanted W/P #s
The 3782608 cast # looks like it may not be tapped for the bypass hose, theres one other that is 3736493 which is early cast number.

Re: Wanted W/P #s
The date code can be a little earlier than April. The water pump would have been manufactured before the truck was built. Not sure exactly how long but a couple of months shouldn't matter.

Re: Wanted W/P #s
Did you find a pump? I just pulled one from a 65 passenger car 283. GM #3782608 with date cast C314. Yours for the shipping from 80302.
