February 2014 ToTM

To start our Truck of the Month (ToTM) contest for 2014 we are going to base our February theme on:

Pearly Whites!

So check out the criteria to participate in this month’s contest.

The criteria for this month are:
  • Open to all Trucks, Blazers, Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, and Jimmys where the primary exterior color is WHITE. Flames, striping, or some details maybe added, but the primary color must be white.
  • The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck.
  • The truck must be together and able to move on its own power.
  • The truck has to be licensed for street use.
  • If a truck was selected as a 2013 TOTM winner then you are ineligible. If the truck was nominated but not selected as a TOTM winner then it may be nominated and compete in this month's category.

To Nominate:

You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, and the Make/Model/Year of vehicle.

Nominees will run through January 24. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up by January 25 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of February 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of February 1. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

I wish I qualified.Panels aren't listed, maybe because those of us lucky enough to own one are already winners.

Mine's white, except for the Sweet Gum tree lace overlay. The paint ain't great but the truck usually gets driven two or more times a week.More in summer.
250 I6 3ott lowered 2 1/2-4 Rallies,PS disc and PB added.

Re: February 2014 ToTM

Hopefully my 1969 GMC ambulance is white enough for consideration for January's ToTM. While it has been an ambulance since new it was restored late 2012 in time for my Rescue Squad's 55th year of service to the local community. It is a 307 and is fully equipped as it would have been in 1969. Thanks, SMFDCo1

Re: February 2014 ToTM

Some really great trucks so far!
I'll throw my 71 swb in the mix. It has a 400sbc, 18 & 20 Showheels Streeters, and an ECE 4/6 drop. I've owned it since 1989.
