HELP with PS pump mount on 350
I just swapped out my stock 327 for a 350 on my 67 chevy C10 and I can't mount the PS pump. The original mount was on the two bosses on the lower drivers side front of the engine. The 350 has the bosses but they are not drilled or tapped. Can I drill and tap these without striking water? Or is there an alterante method to mount my pump.
Also, the harmonic balancer is bigger on the 350, can I use the 327 balancer? Thanks

Are you planing on using all the stuff off 327? If so go ahead and drill and tap. Should not hit water but if you do just use sealer on threads. As to the balancer use the pulleys off your 327 and bolt them to the 350--they will be in the same position.

Me Too!
I have the same problem right now. I took my truck apart a year ago, and since then I forgot how it goes together. Maybe somebody could post a picture for us dummies?
