66 frame vs 67

Going to rebuild my '69 LB and turning it into SB while I'm at it. So, got a hold of what I thought was a 1967 shortbed frame. Bought it from the guy that does all my powdercoating. After he powdercoated it, brought it home and noticed the frame at the front was different. Slightly, but still different frame horns that dont match my front bumper, a cross member with two "U" shaped brackets that my 69 doesnt have, and where my old steering box bolted on, there is a factory indentation that is not on the new frame. Are there any other differences that are going to affect this build? Should I just cut off ends of frame horns and weld on old ones to accomodate the 69 bumper? The rest of it looks the same....
