Top off, heat on

We had a stellar day yesterday in the typically wet Pacific NW, and the sun just "made me" take the Jimmy out for a spin, had to share a pic. Now I can't wait for a little spring weather to stick around.

Re: Top off, heat on

We are currently at 11 degrees in Chicago! On Mon and Tues we will have a high of -2 and lows temps of -19. So NO top off my Blazer for a while. Then add in all the snow and salt on the ground and the Blazer wont be out of the garage for a while. I guess Im just a little jelous. Its good to see one out and topless though.

Re: Top off, heat on

Top off - NO heat on here. 'Bout 72*deg. here last evening & I realized I hadn't driven mine since before Christmas. Had on shorts & T-shirt but I stopped and put on a flannel before I got on I-95. Wish I'd put the cover on when I parked it, surprising how much crap(bird & spider) settles on it inside the shop. I keep thinking I'll swap the 160* thermostat for a 180* because the heater doesn't do much with the 160*.
This weekend we camped 4 days in the infield at Daytona for the Rolex 24 and it was about 30* the first couple of nights. PLENTY COLD sitting on top of the van watching night practice & in the pop-up too. Lil' Yamaha generator and electric blankets worked GOOD.

Your picture makes me envious. lol Although I like the looks of the trucks more I too have two little ones that are making me want to buy a blazer now. Just more room for hauling the family.
