What interior color?
Well, I am finally moving forward on the 68 short-box project.
I have painted the cab white - inside and out. My question is: What interior color should I go with for the carpet, seat, dash pad, visors and door panels? I am up in the air on what to do. It is still months away but I thought I would ask for some opinions and more so... hopefully get some pictures of some examples. Show me what ya got...

Go blue...just me, but I think white with blue looks awesome. I just saw a white burb (burb build section) with blue interior. ..looked phenomenonial

Blue and white plad seats, blue carpet and dash pad with white and blue door inserts?
Or a nice rich brown leather seat/steering wheel and dashpad with brown carpet and brown leather door insert! if you had lots of cash! |

Saddle would go good with the white. But maybe I'm just a little biased? Anyhow, just my $.02 worth.

The saddle looks great. Are those door panels vinyl covered or solid plastic? They look nice.

Im biased to medium blue, but any blue would be good with the white

My '70 was white with green interior and it looked really nice. Then again my '63 had red interior and it was really sharp |

Id also say Blue or Saddle, anything but red. Just my opinion. I had a Trans Am with bright red interior once and I hated every thing about it. The glare on the windshield and just overall ' ahhh! my eyes! ' Id say Blue, Saddle, Black / white houndstooth in that order. Do you plan to keep the truck or possible re-sale?

I am so far liking the brown & crème. normally I don't like brown, but that looks pretty good. not too keen on the blue idea yet... I'd like to see red interior if anyone has pictures. If all else fails I will just go with the easy black as I already have visors & dash pad in black. But that's just too typical for me I guess. Anyone else have any thoughts or pictures?

I like the saddle a lot, especially the houndtooth bench seats. I've tossed around the idea heavily to change the red interior out of my truck for it.

some idears I'm building a white highlander w/blue plaid. last pic is a member's, 72BBC I think. white is a great color. I'm missing/can't find a white with red interior example, but know there are a few out there and they look VERY nice. If going custom, not resto, then you are free to mix years. Red custom cloth (houndstooth) is gorgeous in a white truck with red panels/pad/steering wheel/carpet. Good luck.

I have a bright blue truck with white paint in the cab and had blue interior. I went with black on everything except the glove box door and ashtray. They were custom pinstriped and the column is staying blue. There was just too much blue, but the black is looking good. The bench seat has black and blue houndstooth inserts, though.

I had no idea there were so many blue interiors out there.
I am kinda leaning towards the black or grey. The brown, nor blue do much for me. I am also trying to think about the sellability of this truck. Anyone have any other interior color pictures?
