New Owner
Well I just purchased a 1970 GMC Jimmy….
No motor, auto trans and transfer case is there - condition unknown Nice hardtop & factory roll bar No seats, needs front floor pans, rockers etc. The good - $900……. I do media blasting so prob gonna strip it down put on the rotisserie and clean her up. OR maybe just replace the bad sheet metal and leave as for a rat rod look It will be converted to a 2wd and probably a LS2 motor with auto trans. |

Re: New Owner
Congrats on the blaz. If you got the time to take it Down to bare metal and do It Right it would be awesome. At least then you can go through the whole truck and know everything has been cleaned or replaced and checked.

Re: New Owner
OK I will get some pics.
I actually got it cleaned out a little and it looks a lot better, rust is still there. Thinking of biting the bullet and going with Porterbuilt suspension front & rear - any thoughts? Is there any group buys available from vendors? We just got 7" snow last night with another 2-4 due this afternoon so it maybe later before I can get pics….. Tim |

Re: New Owner
Do I have to have minimum amount of posts before I can post pics?
Is there a process for posting pics? or copy and paste? Sorry for the newbie questions….. |
