3:08 gears how much should I get for my used pair ?
There is a guy up here (Canada) who need's my old gears (I went to 3:73's) The guy who did the work on my diff. at the shop gave me the old ones and said to keep them that they were worth saving.
What should I ask for them ? I have no Idea. Thanks guys.

I remember being told in the past that when a gear set (ring and pinion) is run in a particular axle housing, it wears a certain way. So, if you remove the set and install in another housing, there is the possibility of noises or in extreme cases, maybe even breakage. I was told this by a very experience and repuitable mechanic. I have never purchased used gears because of being told this. Just thought I'd share that with you.
As for price: new set would run around 175-200 US green, so figure no more than half that. |
