another 69 chevy! few pics.thoughts?
got another 69 chevy. 2wd longbed 1/2 ton
has a 305, saginaw 3 spd converted column to floor shift. manual brake manual steering and no ac. same owner for 33 years runs and drives (needs fuel pump and ive confirmed)was maintained fairly well through the years and he is getting old and i asked him at the right time i guess. the floorboards are fairly solid. rot- passenger rocker and some up under the drip rail.not extremely bad but its there. all the trim is there and comes with the original steel wheels and hubcaps. he sais never been repainted and couldnt find any evidence of it. inside is pretty clea beautiful dash and abseloutly gorgeous for stock guage cluster. no wiring was ever fooled with either. am i safe at paying 1k for it? sorry for lack of pics. the natural patina is abseloutly killer! it was a texas truck forever then arizona. clean title. any idea general value?

That is a very cool and nice truck.
As long as the rust isn't too bad in the hidden areas, a grand is a decent price.

$1000 is OK. Check the typical rust areas real well though as it could be a $500 truck if there's more rust hidden.
