Bench Seat Brackets

I'm in the process of reassembling the bench seat mounting brackets after being torn down and set aside for several years. I'm not sure if I have a missing part or if the fitment of the pieces were worn more than I remember. The issue is in the pull rod that connects from the LH to RH bracket for seat position adjustment, where it attaches on the LH bracket. The fitment is not very good and slips off of the pull pin. Am I missing something or is it just worn out and needs a little modifying to get it to stay in place?

Re: Bench Seat Brackets

Mike,

Two of the small parts you show in your picture are not seat adjuster parts. Read through this thread. the pictures I posted in it should help you out.

You need 2 of the clips and springs shown in the picture below...

Re: Bench Seat Brackets

Thanks for the response LockDoc! When I disassembled the pieces, I'm pretty sure I bagged up all that was attached to the bracket. After looking at the link you gave me, I may be trying to piece together the PO's attempt at fixing a broken seat adjuster. I think I can make the piece that is missing and get it back on track.

Thanks again,

Mike
