1964 c-10 ?
I am a newbie here and I have a 1964 c-10 6 cyl. that I and trying to find out what size engine it is, I have a block number 8994258 if that helps I found the number near the fuel pump on the block. Any help ? Thanks Doc

If the sideplates are 6 inches tall its a 292, If they are 3 inches tall its probably a 250, I think the fuel pump placement will tell you if its a 230 or 250. Someone else here will remind us hopefully,

194-230-250 have 4 inch sidecovers with the fuel pump directly behind the distributor. 292's have 6 inch sidcovers with the fuel pump behind the engine mount. 230's have flat top pistons. Yours is a 292. Also a give away is the engine color. Green for the 292 and blue for the 230-250.
