Re: 3/4 Ton .. Rear End Swap

Dana 60 coil spring rear is what you want. A bit difficult of a rear to find but there are disc brake kits for them. You probably already have a leaf spring HO52 or dana 60 rear- I'd stick with that and just get a disc kit for it.

Re: 3/4 Ton .. Rear End Swap

Personally I like the leaves over the coils. Why are you wanting to swap rears? Is it difficult for you to locate brake parts for the H052 where you are at? s far as disc stuff goes, there are a number of kits out there for the H052. Off the top of my head tsmmfg.com has a nice setup. Also check with the vendors on here. Tere is at least one that does at least the brackets for several applications. It would use the same brackets as a FF14 bolt.

Re: 3/4 Ton .. Rear End Swap

Don't swap the rear end just for the sole purpose of going to disc brakes. I've had a 3/4 ton and a 1 ton and let me tell you, those rear drums will stop a freight train and not break a sweat! The fronts are what should be converted to disc.

That is a DANA 60, you can see the 60 to right of the filler hole right below the plug weld hole

Re: 3/4 Ton .. Rear End Swap

Being in LA you should be able to find a shop that "makes" leaf stacks. I had some made for a 94 I had. I just had to measure the width. What they do is build a stack out of leaf stock they have on hand. They will make you a new set of u-bolts also.
