Slow shift in/out of 4x4
I'm a long time motorcycle mechanic new to the world of 4x4s. I recently bought a '91 Chevy 1500 4x4 with a 5.7L/350 motor. My problem is when I shift into or out of 4x4 it takes a 1/2 minute or so for the shift to actually happen.

I have a 94 and it takes a min. to shift into 4 hi but usually locks right into 4lo
