Re: '67 Patina Monster in Denton (not mine)
I ment that for the preservation of the engine and powerglide they need to be preserved in the corner covered up for later ,,,

When dealing with collectible muscle cars and such its worry but a title for these old trucks is nothing to worry about ,,,

Have you ever had to get a bonded title for anything? I have. It was a giant pain in the ass that was dragged out for several months. I am not sure if it was just Illinois doing what they do best (screwing stuff up), but I'd have to imagine that it's a similar drill anywhere.

Re: '67 Patina Monster in Denton (not mine)
Lol the vin plate bolts to the cab on these trucks with 4 screws , and they are just old trucks nobody cares , they are 71 cabs on 67 frames on 68 cabs on 70 frames and on and on and on if you have a truck with no title its easy to find A $200 clunker ,,,,

Re: '67 Patina Monster in Denton (not mine)
Swapping cabs/frames is one thing....swapping vin plates is a federal offense.
For the record, they use rosette rivets, not screws, to try to prevent just this sort of thing. If yours has regular screws...you might want to dig a little further into it. lol.

Re: '67 Patina Monster in Denton (not mine)
Is that price awfully high or have I been living under a rock? I see a GMC long bed without a title that needs a lot just to be a legal driver. I'm thinking $400-800.

I am not seeing the hole. Are you looking where the mat is torn up?

It is a shortbed and looks pretty solid to me. I have been watching for sale trucks for over 2 months now. If there was a good title, i don't think his asking price would be out of line. Of course, pics can be decieving.
