Picked Up This 67 C-30 Yesterday
-
This has to be the worst lookin truck I have ever bought. There is not one piece of sheet metal that doesnt have at least one good sized dent in it. Not to mention the rust. It was on craigslist for $2000 OBO . The owner ended up pulling the engine, transmission, flat bed, & hoist and sold me the rest of it for $400.00. He was actually using it to haul gravel until the clutch went out of it a while back. The good It has one new tire on the rear and two newer rims, new brake lines, rebuilt and re-covered seat and a new ignition switch. It also has a title with current plates. The bad Everything else LockDoc

Doc,
I take you are going to part it out, correct? If so, I need the rear most cross member. The one that goes between the rear spring hangers. I will need it shipped to NC 28025. Thanks!!! Alex |

Thanks guys I don't know what the back space is but I do know they are heavy... I'm not too good with the build thread thing but I will try to keep updates posted. Keep in mind that I have four projects going at this time so I don't know how fast it will progress. LockDoc

That would be one nice welding rig, with a big old Lincoln on the back.

Well, I got the front clip off of it this afternoon and cleaned some of the stuff out of the cab so I could see what it looked like. I will take the seat out of it tomorrow if it isn't raining. The floor is pretty rusty but I have a good complete cab floor I can put in it. LockDoc

Re: Picked Up This 67 C-30 Yesterday
Doesn't look all that bad up front. How's the frame in back?

The frame has been modified in the back but that won't be a problem. LockDoc
