Does this look right to you?
I'm convinced the front of my truck is lower now than it was with 1" drop springs and 2 1/2" drop spindles. All I've done is put new stock height springs in it. Any thoughts?

Re: Does this look right to you?
Should I have gone with a HD spring? Truck has a 350, a/c, ps and PB.

Re: Does this look right to you?
Looks correct to me...The tire itself looks rather tall from rim to tread and factory springs seem to sag a bit after 40+ years of use. I'm running 275/R60/15 BFG's all around and I had to pull the 2" drop springs and reinstall the factory coils with 1/2 a coil cut off with the 2-1/2" drop spindles to get the wide 28" tires to clear the fender opening...So I wound up with a theoretical 3" to 3-1/2" drop. That tire appears to be taller than 28" so yeah, it looks about right considering the 2-1/2" drop spindles are still in...After looking again, that tire appears to be at least a 30" tire maybe taller...?

Re: Does this look right to you?
Tires are 235/70-15's. I think that's around 28" tall. Springs are new too. They are the standard duty versions and the truck looks like its sitting the same if not lower...

Re: Does this look right to you?
What do yours measure from center cap to street? Mine measures 13" to center of cap (spindle) and 28" to the edge of the fender opening...

Re: Does this look right to you?
I've about 13" to the center of the caps also, but about 27 1/2" to the fender... How much would HD springs lift up the front and how much rougher of a ride are we talking?

Re: Does this look right to you?
Its not supposed to be. I've got 2 1/2" drop spindles on it with stock height springs. What I'm trying to figure out is if it looks normal with that setup or if its sitting too low for some reason.

Re: Does this look right to you?
No worries, Tim. What could explain why its sitting so low in the front, Oarngesi? Should I have put HD/BB/whatever springs up front instead of standard duty or is something else wrong? Thanks y'all.
