Thinking about a Clifford for you L6??
I wanted a Clifford intake for my 250CI so after searching on ebay for months with no luck I broke down and bought a new one... Now 2 weeks after my purchase the perfect situation pops up on ebay... I am no way affiliated with this auction but I hope it can help someone here put a little omph to their 6 banger!! Everybody swaps in a small block chevy.. Stand out and make your 6'er pop!!!!

Is that really polished? I tried to sell my black powder-coated one with a 390 for less than that and got no takers.

My thought exactly. If that is polished I'm a monkey's uncle. Looks more like someone just took a wire wheel to it.

Re: Thinking about a Clifford for you L6??
Pardon my ignorance but do the Clifford intakes work with the stock exhaust manifolds or are headers mandatory for the I-6?

If you went with a later 292, they called that the 4.8L L6.

Re: Thinking about a Clifford for you L6??
The intake arrived in about 10 business days... I called Clifford when i did not recieve anything after 6 business days, They told me that they were waiting for the 4 barrel adapter to be manufactured. When I told them that I was going to have the intake powder coated and would like it shipped sooner they shipped it the next day and mailed the adapter a few days later.

Re: Thinking about a Clifford for you L6??
I called Clifford Performance and talked with Larry the Tech Rep. He said NO, the water-heated intake p/n 42-4501 will not work with the stock cast iron exhaust due to the oversize of the water jacket.
