Anyone tried '63 Impala buckets in a '63 C10?

Building a '63 C10 step that has the stock bench in it now. I have a pair of buckets from a '63 Impala SS along with the console, and thought that would be a cool period look. I have searched and looked at 100's of great interiors here, but didn't see anything similar addressed. Anybody tried this?

Re: Anyone tried '63 Impala buckets in a '63 C10?

Same thought here. I would have loved to install 63-64 Impala buckets in mine, but had to settle for ProCar buckets as they are much more affordable. Post # 1286 (page 52) of my build thread shows what my interior looks like currently. The Chevy buckets are considerably wider and deeper (front to back) than my seats, and the polished bands over the back are killer.

The console may or may not be easy to fit depending on whether or not you have a high or low hump floor, and I’m not sure which would be easier.

Not sure what these buckets are out of, but give you some ideas.

a friend of mine did it and they look awesome. the backs are not too tall, and the width is perfect for a small console. he had to make the brackets , but no big deal
