What Kinda Oil For Posi/traction??

I'M CHANGING THE GEAR OIL IN MY RIG,AND I'M CURIOUS AS TO WHAT KIND OF OIL YOU GUYS AND GALS ARE RUNNING IN YOUR POSI REAR ENDS.MAY AS WELL USE SOME GOOD STUFF SINCE IT DOESNT GET CHANGED VERY OFTEN.

I am running 75/140 Richmond synthetic. Most of the synthetics have a traction unit addative. If you use the "dino" stuff, Gm puts out an addative to add to the diff. Good luck,crazyL

85-90 GL-5 and go to the dealer and buy the GM additive. The last is the important one. I have it in my Corvette and my truck. Without it, it will chatter. Its a GM thing. Cant tell you why.

I've just always used 85-90 and a posi trac additive you can get at Napa.
