The Sub frame does have specific ends on the frame for the rear bumper and I thought shortbeds and suburbans shared wheelbases??

Oh yeah, it might be 115", I know we looked into this years ago but I can't remember what the outcome was.

They are 115 wheelbase, different mounts than a pickup box and rear foot or so of frame rail is different for bumper mounting. A pickup frame might work but you will need some parts. Best bet would be to buy a parts truck Suburban or Panel 1/2 ton

I sold mine last month to a guy named ed on eastern shore of Maryland on the the forum he goes by "notsolo" He was planning to use it doen the road for a project but it was a clean California/texas frame that I pulled out from under my suburban for my duramax swap. You can always make him an offer if you need it more than he does.
