http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/4445389030.html

Selling my 1963 GMC c10 dually
Original 5.0 v6 with 4 speed
55k original miles
All windows are in great condition
Runs good, needs carb rebuilt have the kit , just haven't got around to doing it
Brand new dual exhaust , Flowmasters
POSI REAR END
Bench seat out of a newer chevy truck
Original black paint with "Patina"
Lowered on some real 22.5 peterbuilt Alcoa semi wheels had them milled down to be 22s so I can fit low profile tires
Professionally shortened the frame to make it a short bed
Wheels tires and adapters alone cost me $4,000 .
Adapters are what makes the truck a dually
Without adapters you can slap regular single wheels on it
Selling the truck with the wheels for $8500 Obo
Or if you want the truck without the wheels
$4,500

Smaller 16's and thicker tires would look a lot better. Be more of a work truck that way. But its sweet anyhow.

Are the tachs in these trucks pretty rare?

The tach is rare, but the Sun tach was what you got if you ordered a tach in a GMC, also available in the GMC was a Sun Batometer , a vacuum gauge, or a clock-----(I have never seen a stock clock) Here is what my 66 GMC ended up looking like after a little fiddling:

At first I thought the turned down 22.5 wheels were kinda dumb, but after realizing it's a half ton I REALLY think that. Pretty nice looking truck besides that, though.

I know the title says C10,... but I read on another forum that it use to be a camper. (C30?)
Camper was removed and the frame cut down.
I agree,... that I would have cut it down to a lwb truck instead,... and used a long fleetside bed like Dino did.
I still think it's cool.

Re: Dually for sale! Here you go Dino! Not Mine!

I think it's a pretty cool concept, but a longbed would have made more sense to me.

Throw a stakebed and a few kegs on it for a Beer Wagon look.

Why does it have to be a heavy duty truck to run those wheels? Why the hate? I think it looks killer.

Re: Dually for sale! Here you go Dino! Not Mine!

I love stock style shiny trucks and they have my heart, but i do get the "look". It needs to be a long bed and more rubber/smaller wheels for a little more sidewall. I would also chop the roof some, and lower it so that bumper could cruise about 3" off the road.

Also, it needs a potent little power plant since the driveline is probably lossy, and it needs a blower sound, just needs it. I would say (here comes some hate) it needs a turbo diesel, even if it's out of a german car. I would even consider SMALL (like 3" max) stacks right behind the cab semi style, NOT through the bed floor, but next to the corner.

Re: Dually for sale! Here you go Dino! Not Mine!

I was just making a joke--no hate really intended. I really don't get the low-pro dually look, though, and the fake half ton dually thing is really puzzling for me, being a guy with actual DRW trucks.

FWIW, I don't think the frame looks like a C-30 frame, does it?
