Trucks from Mecum Indy 2014

I went to the Mecum Auction in Indianapolis last week. A friend of mine took a 1934 Buick Street Rod to auction off. While there I had an opportunity to snap some truck pictures. Enjoy

That was my favorite. I would have loved to have brought that one home for sure.

That long bed K20 was a beautiful truck Very nicely done from top to bottom. Engine compartment was detailed perfectly and under carriage was exceptional.

Re: Trucks from Mecum Indy 2014

wow, love the long-stepper k20! What is it about big auctions and trucks - is it stated on the seller registration form that one must add on wooden bedside racks? Seems I see them more and more often (though not too many pictured above, just noticed it on the first few), and only at auctions... They've almost replaced the cabbage patch kids that are slumped over staring at the headlight as though they are being punished at car shows... I can see them on the 47-55.1's but they need to be well done to look correct on the 67-72s imho.
