Pulley question

Now this may be dumb question but I'm switching long water pump, to a short due to my vintage air kit I got. Does the long water pump pulley work with the short or it doesn't line up? In that case does all the pulleys need to be replaced or just the one for the water pump? Trying to figure this out, motors going back in next week.

Re: Pulley question

Err on the side of caution; it's best to switch your pulleys to a matching set. Pieced together pulleys may get you by, but more often than not they'll be trouble.

Re: Pulley question

Yes, and to make sure your alternator brackets and power steering (if you have) brackets are set up for the short pump, then you'll be all set.
