Re: Porterbuilt and headers
I'm still putting mine together but I have hooker 2466hkr headers and seems to be what everybody is running and it's what Porterbuilt recommends

Re: Porterbuilt and headers
I don't know sick5 you might want to check with Nate and Dave before ordering they now the hooker 2466 fits I'd just hate for you to order them and them not fit cause of the Porterbuilt stuff

Re: Porterbuilt and headers
What EXACT Porterbuilt stuff are you talking about?
I used the 2466 Hooker headers with the Extreme Dropmember on a 67-72 chassis,... and it worked just fine. I assume this is on your '65?

Re: Porterbuilt and headers
Porterbuilt frontend
what im wondering if those header fit an LT Engine? and yes its a 65 the way the shorty are well end up causing issue with my brake lines i made. with the mid range it will go past the point where my brake line are and will make a better install. Keith you got any pic of your install. Last edited by Sick5; 06-18-2014 at 02:46 PM. |

Re: Porterbuilt and headers
This are the hooked headers? They look like mid length headers.

Re: Porterbuilt and headers
Yes.
(I use Google to find these pics) http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hok-2466-1hkr I would call them a mid-length Chevelle header,...

Re: Porterbuilt and headers
Can you run full size plugs or like the Shorties I have, run header plugs? I also have fat MSD 90° BOOTS on the out side plugs.
