stainless trim question
Hi everybody i have a question about stainless trim on a 1971 chev truck
is the stainless trim the same for all the years of cab like 1968-72 front windshield and back just wanting to know if there is any physical difference on the outside of trim or does 1968 stainless trim around front and back windshield the same as 1971 thank you |

According to page 16-1 of the 1946-1972 parts book, I find this:
All window glass is the same from 67-72 The windshield reveal molding cap is the same from 67-72 I can't find the actual windshield or glass molding though, sorry.

71-72 windshield and back window stainless trim has a shorter retention strip that fits into the seals. The seals are made to fit the shorter strips. 67-70 has a longer retention strip that fits into the deeper grooves in the seals. It is important that the seals match the trim.
